Cuernavaca is the capital of Morelos, a state 55 miles from Mexico City.
This city is famous for its never-ending warm springlike weather — known as “City of Eternal Spring.”
To do:
At the Historic Centre, you can visit the colonial Palace of Hernán Cortés, which is now a regional museum. There you can also find many restaurants within walking distance.
Jardines de México is a park on the Mexico-Acapulco freeway, 30 miles from Cuernavaca. There are seven themed gardens: Cactuses, Fan of Flowers, Four Springs, Italian, Japanese, Senses Labyrinth and Tropical Gardens. The entrance fee is 275 pesos ($14), and you can walk or take a tour on a golf cart for an extra $3 fee per person. Purchase tickets here.
My boyfriend, my best friend and I at Jardines de Mexico in 2018 and 2019.
A lot of walking is involved, but there are a couple of stores inside to buy refreshments and snacks. There also are a lake restaurant and a souvenir store at the main entrance.

Tips:
Transportation. Rent a car or take a bus from Mexico City, road trip time is from one hour to an hour and a half.
For your stay. Reserve an Airbnb with a pool to relax and enjoy Cuernavaca’s amazing weather.
$$$. Cash will be needed for freeway tolls, gardens’ entrance and parking fees.
